General Process of Making Safe Box

2023 07/25

Some furniture is decorated in our new house, or the storage of documents and valuables at home. When you want to buy a documents/jewelry safebox, you need to know its manufacturing process before you can better choose its details.

The general process of making the Anti-theft safes:

Steel plate blanking ---> sheet forming ---> welding processing ---> surface treatment ---> assembly ---> general inspection ---> packaging ----> Storage

From the above table, we may not clearly understand the manufacturing process of the safe. Next, we will understand the meaning of each process in detail so that we can deeply understand the manufacturing process of the anti-theft safes:

Steel plate blanking: As we all know, the row material of safe is made of steel plate. Our first process is to cut the large steel plates sourcing through the plate shearing machine into small plates we need, so as to facilitate the next process of processing. This is like making clothes. The first step is to cut the large cloth into small squares needed by collars and cuffs.

Sheet forming: small plates are processed into various components needed for safe box through various machines and equipments such as punching machines, molds and bending machines, such as door panels, rear panels of boxes, bottom plates and various mechanisms. For example, when making clothes, cut small square cloth into various initial shapes such as collars and cuffs.

Welding processing: Use welding technology to enclose all kinds of formed sheet materials into a box with doors. Through such a process, the preliminary framework of the safe has been basically established. Similar to making clothes, sewing all kinds of shaped small materials through sewing machines to form basically formed clothes.

Surface Treatment: The whole process of fine-grained processing of the blank of the safe through various processes, and finally spraying plastic on the surface of the safe. Since the welded safe is relatively rough, we need to polish and remove slag. Because there are rust spots and oil stains on the surface of the safe, we need phosphating treatment to achieve the purpose of removing oil and rust. Because the rough surface of the safe blank is relatively rough, putty ash should be scraped on the surface like furniture and polished smoothly. Finally, high-temperature electrostatic plastic spraying treatment is carried out to form paint on the surface. This process is similar to ironing the sewed clothes and cutting off the extra stitches.

Assembly: Assembly is the process of combining various elements such as locks and accessories that make up the safe to form a complete and usable safe. If the lock uses electronic coded lock, it is called electronic safe; If the lock uses mechanical lock, it is called mechanical lock safebox; If the lock uses finger print, it is called fingerprint safe. There are many assembly accessories, mainly including casters, locks (door locks, emergency locks, coded locks), Operation panels, mechanisms (including door bolts, handles, etc.), back covers, accessories (drawers, flannel, signs, instructions, partitions, etc.). For example, when making clothes, you need to nail buttons and mark the clothes and other final assembly procedures.

General Inspection: general inspection is to check the quality process of the safe, whether the produced safe meets the requirements of the company's initial design, whether there are any missing parts, whether the paint meets the standard requirements, whether it is flexible to use, whether the anti-theft performance is up to standard, etc. This process is very important. If the problems in the safe are not checked out, it will flow into the market, causing losses, customer complaints, etc. The general inspection mentioned here is the final inspection of the whole project. In fact, in the manufacturing process of the safe, every process link needs to be inspected, which is called the process inspection, and the parts processed by external processing also need to be inspected, which is called the external inspection. In short, general inspection is one of the important means to control quality.

Packaging and storage: this process is the last process of producing safes. Packaging qualified safes to meet the needs of transportation, storage and so on is also a very important process. Many safes in the market are damaged by paint, and the damage of accessories is often caused by unreasonable packaging and transportation. Therefore, even at the sales terminal, we should be especially careful about the transportation, loading and unloading of the products, and fully consider the conditions of ventilation, drying, rain leakage prevention and so on in the selection of the ware house, so as to avoid the products being damp and damaged.
